Amsterdam North has quickly become one of the most popular neighborhoods in the city. Center of Amsterdam North is emerging between the rural area of Waterland and the city centre: the newest place for living, working, shopping and relaxing. Paddington is being built on this spot on King’s Cross: a beautiful residential complex with 163 mid-rental apartments.
Paddington – inspired by the well-known neighborhood and the even more famous London Underground station – is located on King’s Cross, a few minutes from Amsterdam North metro station. So you’ll be in the city center in no time. Not that you necessarily have to go there, because all daily amenities are a stone’s throw away. By car you are on the roads such as the ring A10 Noord in no time. There are optional and limited parking spaces for rent in the underground parking garage.
But staying at home is actually much nicer. These brand new rental apartments – from approximately 40 to 74 m2 – have 1 or 2 bedrooms and (almost) all have their own outdoor space. From that outdoor space you are part of the liveliness of the adjacent square or are you looking for the soothing view of the water. What you want. There will also be a great green communal courtyard, where you can chat with your neighbors. The luxurious Bribus kitchen is complete with ATAG built-in appliances and the bathroom is also finished to a high standard. Mid-term rent is for those who earn too much for social rent, but too little for purchase. To rent an apartment in Paddington, your gross annual income is at least 45 times the net rent per month and a maximum of € 57,220 for a single person, € 67,632 for a multi-family household. Tenants who leave a social rental home are given priority when allocating a mid-rental home. The basic rent for a mid-rental apartment is a maximum of € 1,041.76 (price level 2021) per month, excluding service costs and parking space. You will not receive a rent allowance.
